The use of slack is particularly important for learning experiences for students to connect with each other and their instructors. In Fall 2018, Slack was successfully piloted in several courses where it provided for real-time online collaboration among students with an immediate increase in engagement.

There’s a new standard being set for teaching, discovery and innovation, and it’s happening right here at ASU. At Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, rigorous undergraduate and graduate programs equip 2,700 undergraduate students to share the latest in educational theories, research and technologies with the world. The college provides training for teacher certification in grades K-8, as well as grades 7-12.
It’s an office many ASU students return to time and again throughout the Sun Devil lifecycle. An integral part of the university experience, University Registrar Services (URS) assists with registration, academic records, residency and graduation. It serves all campuses and students, as well as staff, alumni and members of the public.
As one of the six colleges comprising the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, ASU’s Polytechnic School is home to one of the most innovative engineering programs in the country and some of the most advanced learning laboratories available to students at any university. The 600-acre Polytechnic campus in Mesa is home to more than 3,300 students. While there are a number of initiatives working toward accomplishing this, Salesforce as the student relationship management system addresses all three of these areas of concern for students.

Transferring to a new institution is a significant transition for a student that is often complicated by the added anxiety of whether existing academic credits will match with ASU’s course equivalencies. In an effort to better serve this student population, ASU’s Office of the University Provost established the department of Academic Transfer Credit Solutions to support transfer students in their academic transition. This department helps prospective transfer students better understand the articulation process so they may transition smoothly and achieve their academic goals.
